Fermi Paradox Rebuttal

Silicon Valley reporter, Michael J. Cohen, wrote an article entitled, "We may have answered the Fermi Paradox: We are alone in the universe."

I completely disagree with his article.. Especially when you consider the opinions of the late, great astrophysicist Carl Sagan and the amazingly astute Neil deGrasse Tyson. 

Cohen's opinion buttresses the outlandish, medieval pious belief systems of Christianity and Islam.. colossal 'frauds of the age'.  It also supports the biblical balderdash of,  "Jesus cometh with the clouds," which can't happen because the mythological messiah is no more than a character in a Roman story... No more, no less.

Our closest galactic neighbors is the Andromeda Galaxy. If we could travel at the speed of light - 186,000 miles per second - it would still take millions of years to reach our destination.

Mike Cohen, you should also watch the documentary - Sirius Project. This is necessary because your rather irresponsible article suggest that the former military pilots and astronauts, would all be fabricating about what they have witnessed with alien spacecraft. 

What would be the purpose of lying? Especially if such falsehoods would jeopardize their reputation and legacy.

Not only are there myriad interstellar civilizations out there but many are far more advanced - some 50,000 years -  than we are. We're an infant species who still doesn't understand the need to operate on one accord. "A house [planet] divided cannot stand." 

In addition to our incessant, nonsensical in-fighting, for millennia, we've been aggressively debating the social and moral relevance of two books - the Bible and Qur'an - and two apocryphal dieties - God and Allah. 

From a metaphysical and cosmological perspective, Mr. Cohen, you're still pooping yellow. Study and research the multiverse, pre-Christian literature, Einstein's 'zero point energy', Dr. Sagan and Dr. Tyson, before you write irresponsibly about the infinite, ever-expanding cosmos.
